Marriage is one of the most important milestones in one person’s life. The whole process can be both exciting and overwhelming at the same time. There are many important decisions you have to make during this period. One of them is to find your dream wedding ring. Choosing your wedding ring is an essential part of this enchanting journey. Your wedding rings will symbolize your love and commitment, also they will be with you forever. At least, we can help you with this one. If you do not know how to choose your wedding ring, keep reading!

When it comes to selecting wedding rings, there are various details to decide. This is not a negative thing because you can create your wedding rings. All of our jewelry pieces are customizable and of course, wedding rings are no exception. You can customize your wedding rings however you like. So you can have your dream wedding ring for the rest of your life. To start with, you should decide on a budget. Since we have many metal and gemstone options, prices can vary. After a set budget, let’s start our guide!

Color & Metal

Consider the metal of your wedding rings a center stone of your engagement ring. It is that important! First of all, you need to consider the metal of your engagement ring and whether you want to match with that or not. To protect the metal of your engagement ring, we offer selecting the same metal. Also, we offer mixed-metal wedding rings as well. Speaking of our wedding rings we offer the following metals; gold (comes with 10K, 14K, and 18K), platinum, palladium, silver, stainless steel, and ceramic. For specific designs, there are also mixed metal options as well, for instance, silver & gold or platinum & gold. As for the color, gold comes with yellow, white, and rose options. Also, you can use different color combinations.

The most popular metals for wedding rings are platinum and gold. Platinum is generally preferred because it is super durable, looks high quality, and is naturally hypoallergenic. If you prefer less heavy metal then we recommend palladium instead. The main negative side of these metals is their cost. So if you are looking for a more budget-friendly option, you should go for a classic gold ring.

Style

After deciding the metal and color of your ring, you can start exploring our grandiose wedding rings collection. We have wedding rings for everybody and every style! There are 12 different styles to choose from. Our wedding rings styles are; Classic, Exclusive, Simple, Vintage, Twinset, Celtic, Memoire, Fancy, Twist, Wood & Carbon, Steel & Gold.

Choosing the style of your wedding ring is such a personal choice. Before deciding you can think about your couple’s style and characteristics. Remember that you will be wearing these rings every day for the rest of your life. If you are looking for more traditional-looking wedding rings, we would recommend starting with Classic and Simple styles. However, if you say I would be open to different styles, you can look at Fancy and Celtic styles. As a final recommendation, do not forget to follow your instinct!

Width & Profile & Thickness

After selecting the color, metal, and style there are some technical things you should decide on. Those are width, profile, and thickness. All of these can affect the price of wedding rings as well. The width refers to the length of the ring that will cover your finger. Some designs require a certain width while for the others you can choose any width based on your preference. We offer 3.0, 4.0, 5.0, and 6.0 mm width options. Usually, people with a thin finger opt for a smaller band and a broader finger prefer a larger width.

As for the profile, it is the shape of the metal band. Just like the metal, it is best to match your engagement ring. We have two profile options. Profile A is the traditional comfort fit which means the edge of the ring is rounded inside as well as outside. Profile B is the flat band comfort fit which means the edge of the ring is rounded inside and flat outside with a slight dome for increased comfort. Both of them are super comfortable so the final decision is up to your personal taste.

Finally, the thickness is how much millimeter the wall of the ring has. We generally offer between 1.2 mm and 2.0 mm. For some designs, there can be fewer options because they require a thicker band. For instance, engraving or the stone size can alter the thickness of the rings. Thicker bands are also not bent easily so you can avoid picking a very thin band.

Finishing Touches

Last but not least there are some final details you need to consider. You can change the finish of the metal as you like. The two main finishes are polished and matte. The matte finish has options like vertical brushed, horizontal brushed, wire-brushed (ice matte), and sandblasted as well. If you are unsure about the finish you can see the detailed version of the rings with different finishes on our website. Another technical decision is the ring size. If you are unsure about your ring size, you can check our “Ring Size Guide”. Lastly, for the ultimate personalization, you can engrave your wedding ring. Since the engraving will be on your wedding rings it is a crucial decision. For all the engraving ideas, you can visit our “What to Engraved on Jewelry?” blog post.
